Volunteer Application Form

We welcome Volunteers of all ages! You can be both a Village Member (if you're over 55) and a Volunteer.

Volunteers can help Members in any number of ways - with rides to town or shopping, friendly visits, dog walking, gardening and more.

The Vashon Senior Center obtains electronic background checks on all Volunteers. This is for the safety and comfort of our Members.

If you would like to be a driver for the Villages, you will drive your own vehicle or drive the Vashon Community Van and are responsible for providing the Vashon Senior Center copies of your driver’s license and proof of insurance. We will request a driver’s abstract from the Washington State Department of Licensing.

We will need a signed permission for the volunteer background check, as well as a driver's abstract for those who will transport passengers.
