Volunteer Application Form

We welcome Volunteers of all ages! You can be both a Village Member (if you're over 55) and a Volunteer.

Volunteers can help Members in any number of ways - with rides to town or shopping, friendly visits, dog walking, gardening and more.

The Vashon Senior Center obtains electronic background checks on all Volunteers. This is for the safety and comfort of our Members.

If you would like to be a driver for the Villages, you must furnish your own vehicle and are responsible for providing to Vashon Senior Center copies of your driver’s license and proof of insurance. We will request a driver’s abstract from the Washington State Department of Licensing.

After you complete this form, we will reach out for your signature and permission for the background check, as well as a driver's abstract if you'd like to be a driver.
